Does M151 vaccum motor fit on the m715 or i need specific m715 wiper motor ... if not working ... does any other models can fit in there ??

The bolt pattern should be the same...it is a universal type. I have seen old Dodge Powerwagons that have cosmetically different but interchangable vacuum wiper motors...s I would think they would fit fine...might havesome slight diferences or part numbers but no sweat.
Nice because i can have a set of NOS m151 vaccum motor for cheap ..... but don't want to buy them for nothing

Looks just like the M715 ones.
The difference is the arm length. The M-151 one is a bit longer. Everything else is the same and will bolt right up. What you do is add a small spacer inside the windshield to make the proper shaft length outside. I did this when replacing mine with M-151 motors.
Anybody ever take one of their wiper motors apart to see what's inside? I have a very slow one on the passenger side and before I spring for a new one, I figured I'd give it a go.
Never had an occasion in the past to get into a vacuum wiper motor, surprisingly......
Yep, open it and there is a little screen in there...tend to suck in stuff, plug up some, and get slow.
Open it, clean, light touch of oil and good to go...you can add a little piece of a nylon stocking or such on the outside air entrane to keep stuff from getting in going forward.
On both the M725 and M715 there are spacers on the wiper bracket.If the wiper doesn' t work trying spraying silicon in the opening . also i use My compressor to check the wiper motors . just turn the compressor output pressure down,
The wiper motor is truly a very simple design, usually what happens is a little silicone spray attracts a lot of dirt. Open it up, clean everything well, a little light oil (break free clp works real well), and they tend to free up nicely. . ...

Is there a diaphragm in there that operates them? Or is it a piston?
