Has anyone put a 6.2 liter deisel in a M715?
If so, how does it fit?
What are the issues including motor mount fab?

Spicer has one in one of his trucks, I am sure it is fine as long as you dont expect to spin the tires, LOL.

Oilcan ran his 6.2 M715 all over WITC at the FE last week. Poolmike is putting one in his as well. I know there are other, but can't remembr them all.
Basically, they are as easy to fit as a gas V8. I used a 1/4" steel plate to go from the 3 motor mount holes on the block of my 396 to the stock 230 rubber motor mounts. Many others have done the same.
Late 60-early 70's Chevy truck and I think Chevelle motor mounts fit the stock frame horns almost perfectly too.

The basic spicergear motor mount plates are all I used to drop the system in place. I had to chop up the trans cover 'cause the shift tower moved forward a bit, but overall, it was an easy swap. Same as SBC.
By the way, the power difference between open exhaust and 2" straight duals is really noticable. The glasspacks didn't make much difference. When I go through the truck again, I'm gonna try to get 3" duals crammed in there somewhere.
