Center style in that the e-brake is between the two shifters?
or center style in that the e-brake pivot point or connection to the rod is in the center instead of on the bottom of the handle?
or are you trying to put the t-case shifters and the e-brake handle in the middle of the tunnel above the trans and behind the 5-speed shifter?
Sorry about the questions, but I am lost as to what you need.
Mc, how about using a civvie bark brake pedal that mounts on left kick panel or a pull-up style lever like between the seats on front-drive cars. you would have to redo the cable but that ain't no thang for you.
Lee, were you able to use the pintle hitch?
yes, thanks for the hitch!
ok, i mean a t handle that pulls from the center of the dash, or under, like on mazda trucks and older cars. pull the t out to lock, then twist to unlock. to twin stick my new transfer i need the levers side by side, not in line. also my disc tansfer brake wont work. the cummins sheared it off! the whole bracket!
Toyota, Mazda, and the old Chevy LUV had them. I don't know about Nissan or some of the other foriegn brands. Almost all airplanes have them also. Some of the airplane ones, Piper for instance, worked with the hydralic system to lock up the brakes. I don't know the particulars since as just a private pilot, I am not allowed to work on planes.
cj2a's had this style. Jc whitney may have a replacement for them as I am sure they go bad with time.
