FRONT 8 LUG HUBS THAT FIT THE M715 FRONT AXLE

I JUST MET A GUY IN TEXAS THAT IS VERY FAMILLIAR WITH THE M715 AND ITS AXLES AND I ASKED HIM IF HE EVER INSTALLED DODGE 8 LUG HUBS ON THE REAR END AND HE SAID YES AND ON THE FRONT ALSO. HE,S HOOKING ME UP WITH THE KNOLEDGE AND POSSIBLY THE PARTS TO DO IT.

GOT THE REAR FIGURED OUT BUT NOT THE FRONT YET. I,LL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED AND PIX OF THE REAR COMMING VERY SOON. M715 REAR AXLE SHAFTS ARE SHIPPING OUT TOMARROW TO MOSER ENG. TO GET MACHINED FOR DODGE HUBS.

HERES THE INFO. 1967 THRU 1969 DODGE AND FORD HAVE THE CORRECT 8 LUG HUBS

YEP, FRONT IS DANA 60 REAR IS DUALLY DANA 70.

so find those hubs, and they will bolt on to give us 8-lug one-piece rim compatibility?

let me look at work tomorrow, I have more stuff saved there....
it thought you had to change out the spindle and machine a little to make it fit...
somehting about a difference of a 1/4 inch or somethign comes to mind...

I know I used to use the 14 bolt hubs on the front, and If I remember right, I had to make a 1/4 spacer for them. Been awhile though.

I would like to know if rear 60 hubs could be used for the 60 front. Those are pretty easy to find. I don't think I have ever actually seen a 60 front axle that old.. I would be interested in the 14 bolt conversion too even with a spacer seems like the way to go.

i havent had time to do the rears but i got all to do it. its a simple swap with a small amount of machining. my machineist has had some medical trouble and is out of commission till early next year.

So the 67 to 69 dodges and fords bolt directly on the rear without any modification? And the same year and make hubs work on the front with a little machining? I know your machinist is out of commission but can you give us a hint about what needs to be done. Now where do we find these monsters? How about brakes, what is the deal with them? Take them off the donor or is there some other option?

Now, if this is done, this means that you also need the drums for the same year Dodge or Ford? Or are you guys switching to disc on the axles. I am guessing that this makes it easier to get brake parts, one piece rims?
