1967 Kaiser Jeep M-715 6BT Build
Alright guys... time to start the build thread on this one..... heres the lowdown end goal and of parts I already have....
End goal: Somewhat stock appearing M-715 (no huge tires sorry, no spring-over axle, no crazyiness unfortunately).... Daily driven capable.... steers and stops like a modern 1-ton... with just a few too many leafs. (Hence why the m715 is known also as a 5/4 ton). Motor will stay OEM power wise... (as I have a baby 11" clutch)
1991.5 Cummins 5.9L 6BT (VE Rotary)
1993 Ford ZF S542 5 Speed Transmission
Married Ford Np205.. which will be twin sticked and also have my original m715 NP200 E-brake drum housing machined to fit the new NP205.
Ford Dana 60 HP King Pin Front Axle (1988 F350)
Ford Sterling 10.25 Rear Axle (1988 F350)
Disc brakes in all 4 corners (sterling disc conversion)
Hydroboost off of a 2010+ F250/350
Enjoy the ride!
