Hi everyone I have just rejoined this group and are trying to find my way round this new site as I am not computer literate. I live in New Zealand and you all can see my 725 at members gallery under Bruce. There are only two of these vehicles in N.Z. a 715 and my 725. I would like to know if anyone has had slippage of the gear on the oil pump shaft as mentioned in manuals for the 230. My oil pressure was 70psi cold which would put a lot of strain on the pump so I cut the relief spring and now have 50psi cold and 40 hot. I felt that 70psi was too much for the bearings. any comments? thanks.

stock pressure is fine. never had any problems with any of my engines oil pumps and there all stock.
