For a starter... Let me see if I can get a more detailed view.
There is an early style vacuum system...with the carb mounted air cleaner...and a late style, with the remote air cleaner and a governor...both the systems are detailed on the following pages:
Early: http://www.m715zone.com/vb/view.php?pg=early_vent
Late: http://www.m715zone.com/vb/view.php?pg=late_vent
Both of these pages, and many many more, are linked from the Online Maintenance Manuals page linked at the top of every page.
Oh, good heavens!! That is just excellent, thanks...
Edit... Bookmarked...
Thanks guys this will help out allot
Guys, a question...
If I delete the vacuum wipers, can I plug both holes at the fuel pump and remove those lines without doing anything any harm?
You can remove the lines but why plug the holes? The pump will still be trying to work and now be operating in a closed system...trying to create vacuum in a tiny area like that might stress the vacuum side of the pump...
It is possible to get a civilian pump that only has the fule side of the pump and run it...no vacuum side at all.
Better to just leave the lines alone, and allow the wiper side to just remain open to the engine compartment then?
Thats what I did...
