i have a 24 volt military distributor for a v8 chevy engine i need to know what it may have come out in and a year. it is dated that it was rebuilt in 1972. thanks don

M114 APC. They used a V8 Chevy motor before they were refitted to diesel. The motor is suppose to be a Corvet motor like a 287 or sumtin like that.
I'd love to have a M114 small enought to fit in your garage and could be pulled by your M715 on a trailer....To me it's the altimate armor/track vehicle. To bad they are exspensive and rare!

i got one of those distributors myself. its like new but no plug wires !!!!!!! got any or know where to buy em ?

i do not have any plug wires. that what i was tring to do was find out what it was for, so i could get parts.

The M114 is the only MV that used a V8 chevy engine. The M211s and M75 APC used the 302 GMC straight six.

Also has a few cool pics of it. I was close on the motor is was a 283 chevy.

The Army had a tough time holding onto the M114 carburetors. GI's would "borrow" them for their own vehicles.
