Sorry I didnt see this earlier...but yeah, the 275 Autolite or equivalent is correct.

would there be any advantage to going to the bosch platnumx4 plugs if i could get the autolite equvialent
I dont think there are alot of choices in high perf spark plugs that cross to the Autolite 275...just basically the regular types I think...If such a thing is out there....cannot see any reason it would hurt...other than your wallet maybe...

are there 12v military spark plugs out there or do the 24v ones work fine?
Spark plugs work on what the coil sends....older point ignitions generally start around 30,000 volts and modern HEI's can exceed 60,000.
12 or 24 volt is irrelevant to the plug....
