If you can get a Helitool (uglytruckling) kit for the front they're great. I had some difficulty with the rear kit but got it taken care of. I haven't tried to call Ray in a while and I'm pretty sure he's retired in Thailand by now.
He joined the club recently I think...username:
Ray@uglytruckling
You can send him a pm if you like.
Thanks. I don't know why I couldn't find the info on here, but I don't get along with PC's all that well.
Went into the manuals section, and it appears that the 'uglyduckling' kit could give problems down the road, with parts. However, 'Helitool' kit, sounds a little better, but are they still in business? I also looked in 'members' but didn't see anything under 'R' or 'U'.
Uglytruckling and Helitool are the same company.
Until a member has 10 posts, they wont show in the members list...to send a pm though, just go to your pm box and put in his username.
On dodgepowerwagon.com is a post from Ray dated March 21 2008 saying he will be in Oregon for about three months doing some M-37 disc brake runs and then M-715's. Here is his email address rsuiter@helitool.com. I got a couple of his M-37 disc brake conversion kits a year or two ago. Very nice product.
What parts would you have problems finding? If you burn up a rotor you will either have to buy one from Ray or make your own out of a Chevy one. Calipers and pads you can buy at Napa.
I guess I should know this because I have this kit, but are the rotors modified? I thought just the added flange on the hub had the original GM pattern on it to bolt up stock rotors. Otherwise what a PITA... now I'm going to have to have a parts house pull one to look, and jog my memory because mine are allready installed.
