What tube and flap to use in stock wheels for Michelin 325x85x16 tires
What are the dimensions of that tire in inches? I think a stock 9.00-16 size tube would work...that isnt too far from the stock size I think...
Of course, if it is a radial tire, you MUST use a radial tube.
Thanks it is a radial 37.75” high
You might need to go to the 11.00-16 or equivalent then...taller than I thought...
I ran 9.00-16 tubes in my bias ply 38x13s, tubes stretch to fill the tire...to a degree.
But I'll agree you need a radial tube for radial tires
Those tires are 12.8" wide. The won't fit very well on the stock wheels which are only 6" wide. General rule is that the tire should be no more than 4" wider than the wheel. 1100-16 tires will fit the stock wheel without rubbing. You might have rubbing with the 325/85R16 tires. if they rub you will need a wheel with less backspacing.
