Hello all...
I was going to start a build/share thread, but I wasn't exactly sure where to put it.
We are still not set on exactly what our build direction is so it could be mostly stock or mostly modified... We aren't too sure just yet.
Suggestions?
Welcome my fellow buckeye to the zone.... To answer your question.... Well it really depends on what you want to do with the truck. If you want to take it to shows and show it off and not much else then you might want to stay stock. A stock all original restored truck will have IMHO a higher resale value than one that is highly modify.
If you want to drive the truck on the highway and do a lot of off roading and work around the farm then you might want to modify the truck with newer axles, upgraded brakes, bigger engine and a new transmission and transfer case.
The first question you need ask and answer yourself is what do I want out of this truck?

We are pretty excited about it and love to share (thus the blogging and videos) but will hold off on an official build thread until we know what direction we are headed.
After several newer Jeep builds (one being the largely unpopular KL Cherokee) and us having to blaze our own trail, it's nice to see so much tech stuff here!

If I had a rig with a running original engine and drivetrain then I would
keep it that way.
Mine had already been extensively modified, ie the previous owner really
liked to use his wire clipper and oxy-acetylene, so I had no issue changing
stuff up.
Either way I'm a big fan of the resto-mod, replace old antiquated parts with newer ones that make it more pleasant to drive but keep the flavor of the old ride.
