Inspection tools
N00b here and going to look at my first M715 tomorrow to possibly purchase. I read the guide on what to inspect when considering a purchase. However, not sure what tools I need besides a compression checker. Mark was adamant about checking the brake shoes, but unfortunately I don’t have a jack to take with me since I’m out of town and only have a toolbox with the standard stuff. Anything unusual I should go grab?
Thanks and looking forward to joining the ranks.

Brake drums are held on with 3 very large slotted head screws and often fight coming out. Check condition of the fuel tank, rocker panels and rear floor of cab, very prone to rust, check for hacked wiring, tires are expensive, exhaust manifold is prone to cracking, water pump bearing is prone to failure check by moving fan side to side. Good luck and report back.
