Anyone has a source of a bumper that would fit the M-715?
EBAY has some good buys on surplus Hmmwv front bumpers. Anybody worked with these? Some pictures of end results would be great.

VIntage Power Wagons had some nice reproductions.
I made my own.... any local fabrication shop can punch/bend one up for you.
6 inch channel iron with wedge washers from Fastenal on mine, ageng and soon to be on the truck sir Sermis. Super stout.
Actually, I think it's 7 inch c channel because you have to have room for the wedge washers. Looks like stock but will plow right over that prius without even flexing.
Working up my new one tonight. 7" channel.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...98fe25eef0.jpg

Thanks for the ideas.
Has anyone tried a surplus bumper from a Humvee?
There was a thread about using an after market bumper that fits a Ford F-350.
Any traction on that idea?
HMMWV bumper shackles are much easier to attach to the channel iron bumper. Compared to cutting the slots for the stock M715 schackles. You still get tow bar attachment points and just holes had to be drilled.
Instead of cutting the slots and weakening the channel I bolted the stock lifting brackets from the wheels onto the channel. Went from 7/16 to 1/2 on the mounting bolts.
