Got a loooooooooong way to go, eh?!

Most of the boards that are long enough to do 87" in one piece are pretty badly warped. So I'm probably going to have to do quite a few finger-splices. My woodworking neighbor (another Tim) assures me they will be stronger than plain wood. Adhesives have come a long way since 1967.
Tim tells me he ordered a new finger-joiner that was backordered, so I'll bring over my best long board and maybe run it through the process. I'll post pics later.
Got a question for you stock slat guys.... Where do the splices appear? Just randomly along the length of the boards?
