    Default Wrong Vin number

For some odd reason I was just looking at the Vin number page and noticed my truck that came off the assembly line in 2/68 has a Vin number of 207816?
It stands out like a sore thumb because it's the only vehicle with 7 digits listed. The correct number should be 20816. It used to be listed with the correct number, not sure what happened.

Extra electrons were transmitted by the faulty Chinese coil to the database here. Then, they altered your VIN just to pluck your last nerve! I am surprised that it didn't inevert your registration on the hood!

Just kidding, glad your truck is running and surely, the administration will fix it.

You have me wondering Don. Actually I was wrong also. It's 6 digits not 7, but when you look at the whole page of numbers, it does stand out alone.

Just for the heck of it, I pulled up the vin number page and filled the whole screen with its numbers. I then asked my wife to look at the page and tell me if she noticed anything strange or different. In less than 5 seconds she points out the vin number with 6 digits. She didn't know it was my truck, but she found it right away.

Long story...wont bother to detail it all...basically, I retyped the whole page by hand to eliminate tons of extraneous code...I screwed up one...will fix and thanks for catching it!

Wow! That was a lot of numbers to type and out of all of that, you only added one extra number. Outstanding job Jon. My truck got some unexpected publicity. Just for the record the number is 20816. Thanks.
