Thread: Interior floor covering

    Default Interior floor covering

Hey guys: what have you all done for covering your interior floor pans, and transmissions?
Mine had a felt type underlined and whole cab rubber matting. The felt type product absorbed some water from leaks in the cab area over the years. The rust it caused has been taken care of, but I’d like to put a covering back in.
It had a rubber type mat. I’d kind of like to do something like that again, but can’t seem to find anything like it. Also thinking of using a Mylar type sound deadening product.
What have you used, and where did you source it from. By the way, this is for a cab of a 725.

Thanks, will look it up. How did it fit?

It was plenty big enough. Molded for the ridge in the back of the cab. The downside is that everything has to be cut out. It came with a felt liner that covers the center of the floor and cuts down a lot of noise and heat. The vinyl is thicker than I thought it would be. It should last a long time. If you look around their website you should be able to find a picture of it. I don't know why they make it so hard to find more than just a little color choice picture.
Just now going through my pictures, and I guess I didn't take a single one while I was installing it.

I always remove any floor coverings because of the moisture problem. because the cab is not sealed, the carpet/mats just create rust. If you are storing the truck indoors it would be less of a problem.

Thanks for the info, kwai. I'll check for trouble spots when I get a chance.
