Thread: Muffler hanger brackets

    Default Muffler bracket

Here is the muffler bracket from jeepdan. Sorry about the low quality graph paper, it's from the internet.
    Four lines to the inch.

Ugh. When I was removing one of the pins, the cable snapped. So now I need a source for cables if anyone has one. I'll be calling VPW tomorrow, maybe they still have some.

    Thanks everyone!

I was never able to find those cables. What I did was to make ones out of cable available at Home Depot. Put those loop things on the end.

Yeah, that's kinda where my brain was going, too. I wonder though, if the ends are heated to the point that the old cable would slip out, wouldn't a new cable be able to be pushed in? But would it hold? That's the $64,000 question.

I think that a person could cut off the cable with a cut off wheel, and then drill the cable out of the eye.
Push a new length of cable in and swage the cable tight.

I'll check that out. I'd still have the correct ends that way. And tight! Thanks jeepdan!

I may print shirts. That is awesome.
