The glass is just regular laminated glass. If your original is in one piece and not all busted up take it out and take it to a good glass shop and ask them to make another just like it. Let them know that its for and old army truck and that you have to have laminate. A good glass shop should have no problem doing it.

I work as a glazer and do both auto and flat glass.

Got mine cut and installed for $140 or so. Flat laminate with a standard tint on it. (cuts glare)

    From an auto glass company?

Do they make "Speed Glass" for these things?

What's speed glass? If it's tempered, you won't find tempered flat glass. Only laminated like original.

You wont find a Auto Glass shop that has a stock M715 glass in their inventory or anyway to get it. They can't go to LOF or PPG and order it. That is why you need to go to a glass shop that will cut a new piece of Lamitate glass from the old one or a pattern you provide. I have no idea what speed glass is. Never heard of it. If your thinking tempored glass you do not want that for a windshield. Would really stink if a rock flew off that semi and hit your window and it shattered right then and there into a zillion pieces.
Or are you talking about the rubber molding. Putting the new glass in is a whole different matter.
I don't consider myself an expert but I work five days a week 4-6 hours a day repairing both flat glass (windows, doors etc) and Auto glass so I have some idea of what I'm talking about.

Cut and Paste from Quadratrack website:

SpeedGlass is a shatterproof, scratch resistant plastic material that is 50% lighter than glass. Withstands glass-shattering stone impacts and tree limb smacks on trail rides. SpeedGlass is optically crystal clear (like ordinary glass) and can be cleaned with standard glass cleaners or alcohol. SpeedGlass' specialized coating resists pitting and is windshield wiper friendly. These direct fit installations do not require special tools or procedures and install just like normal glass. SpeedGlass is virtually shatterproof and in the event of a motor vehicle accident, not easily removed by fire or rescue personnel. Therefore, SpeedGlass is not DOT approved, or street legal in all jurisdictions
