    Default Redi Sleeve part number

Anyone have the redi sleeve part number for the t-case yokes (think it used to be in the parts list in the manuals section).

Replacing my seals but the first yoke I pulled off is grooved. Figure I better redi sleeve it if I want the seal to be able to do anything.

You can do a little simple measuring with some calipers and set the seal to ride on good metal. I just sent you a PM in response to your questions. Looks like you got it covered.

A very thin, I think stainless sleeve you press on the yoke where the old seal wore a groove, it will make a new smooth surface for the seal to seal against instead of trying to seal in a worn groove. Make sense?

From the original Yahoo board...posted by Bump_r on 8/30/99:

I just got off the horn with Chicago Rawhide, re. Speedi-Sleev yoke repair. They list P/N 99212 sleave for the 2.026-inch yoke OD for $49.00, and the "Gold" series sleeve for the same aplication for $74.22. The seal (cross referenced from the National Seal #450308), came up as C-R P/N 21210, for $28.11.

Hope the info is still good...I think the price may have changed by now.

I believe that AB Linn has the yokes for very cheap, maybe $14 each.

If you are still confused about what he wants. Go to any auto parts store and tell them you need a sleeve to fit the balancer for a '76 Chevy truck with a 350. They will give you a little bitty box with a thin metal ring in it. Once you look at it, you will understand exactly what it is and does.

I would suggest the new yoke route by the way.

Toyota 22R is the first place I used the repair sleeves. They work fine as long as you get everything very clean and put the sleeve on straight.
