    Default D70 axle shaft diameter

    I know it is a 23 spline but what is the diameter? Anyone know?

    1.375 inch on the dial mic.

    Shoulda known. There is an ARB diff for 23 spline but its for 1.5" shaft.

    I vaguely remember that the splined section in mine was 1.5" but it necked down to 1.2ish. I could be wrong.

    Where is there an ARB for 1.5" 23 spline!?...

    Here is my 1.5" 23 spline shafts outta the D70 in my M715.

    Oh, but the trooper doesn't have Dana 70 axle in it does it? Although that ARB is for 1.5" 23 spline shafts, the dimensions of the locker itself has to fit the axle it is going in. Can't put an ARB out of a GM 12 bolt into a Dana 70 so to say. Ring gear diameter, offset, overal length and all that has to match. So I have no idea what size that particular ARB is, but I'm betting that it isn't big enough to go into a D70.

    No, the trooper uses some sort of corp axle. Just saw it and was curious if it was even close.
