Thread: 230 tornado oil pump location

    Default 230 tornado oil pump location

    I am trying to figure out, with out pulling the oil pan on our m715 that we have at work if the oil pump is located in the oil pan or on the timing chain cover wich it looks like it may be mounted on I was just wondering if some one could help? pics would be great my email is jcmitch10@hotmail.com

    The Oil pump is located on the timing cover, Driver's side, down low. You can download the -20 and -34 maintenance manuals by clicking on the link at the very top of this web page: "Online Maintenance Manuals". You currently can't view them online, you must download them.

    Default My way.

    Get under there and locate the part that steady drips oil when the engine is running.

    I think he was looking for something more specific than "engine"

    Well, we changed the oil, and the pressure is up to around 60 psi when running, and around 30psi at idle you guys are a big help
