Default Parking band on NP202 swap issuses

OK so I'm doing the NP202 swap retaining the stock parking brake band assembly. I've read some of the threads and am running into an issue that I didn't see covered. What's happening is that when I go to put the "J" bolt through the band every thing binds up. So I did an eyeball check on the holes from the band to the retainer and they don't line up. Everything worked fine on the NP200 so I don't know what's changed. I was thinking of just enlarging a hole to make everything flow, but wasn't sure if that would work well or not. Anyone run into a problem like this?

Did you use the bearing retainer from the 200 or 202? I've seen bearing reatiners that are otherwise interchangeable that have different locations for the big lug that the brake band mounts to.
