Anyone replaced the stock fuel send with a substitute military sender?
Looking to replace mine when I replace the fuel tank.... Dimensions of the tank will be the same and getting new gages.
Thanks,
Snuffy

have you looked at autometer adjustable fuel level sender product #3262
It's 12 volt and I've seen it used on a 715.
I've just ordered mine. I am also getting their z series gauge set. They have flat black faces and a red light cover to replicate the stock gauges.
That was a thought, but I'm keeping it 24V.
The gages are going to be changed out for newer ones (military), so the resistance issue isn't going to be a huge problem for a mil. sender.
John,
The sender on a M35 sure looks a lot like a M715 sender to me. Give Saturn a call. They probably have some of each. I don't know the NSN number for either part. Saturn will.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

I've got the sender I pulled from my tank floating around somewhere in the garage. It was a working unit when removed.
If you want it, shoot me a PM.
