When you pull the shifter, make sure you donīt drop the little alignment dowel pin... Specially inside the transmission!!
Put it in a gear that you will remember which one you put it in later...I like to use Neutral.
Take of the shifter boot.
Unscrew the big dome at the base of the shifter.
Push out the roll pin that holds the stick on...theres a little cut out area under the dome on the sides to push it out through.

I will give it a shot tomorrow, got my 6.2 flywheel and hydraulic bellhousing this week and hopefully the reassembly will start Saturday.
