Default Troop Seats - Deuce to M715

I have been gathering spare parts over the last 8 months. I had snagged a rough set of Deuce troop seats. I have pulled up past post of people talking about using the hardware to make a M715 set but no pics or instructions.

So the industrious person I am, I just jumped in head first. I will write up a "how to" in the next few days and post instructions and measurements.

Not bad for my first attemp.

I am a trained professional. Do not attempt this at home..............

I will try to get you some pics and measures of the troop seat legs...the middle one is shorter than the end 2 and sits against the wheelwell intrusion in the bed. The end 2 sit against the inner bed wall...

Yeah I haven't had a chance to measure and cut the center leg. The wife thought I needed to mow the yard instead......LOL

Just a note for the purist, on all Kaiser built trucks the bolt holes in the troop seat wood was countersunk. Replacement boards were usually sourced another way, an no other companys ever did this, so unless you find a truck which has managed to still have orignal wood you never notice. You can sometimes pick it out in period photos also.
