Did all the M7XX series have the same springs?I assume so.Does anyone know what the rear body weighs on,say, the M725(ice cream truck)???Or the M724 or M726?
Still pondering,

I think they do... As payload is less on the other variants. I have a feeling they overengineered the capacity of the springs for fun, and then stuck other bodies on w/out concern.

Thanks for the response Tacoma. It may not have been a good one, but it was a respose. And I respect that.
Your friend,
Ben
Commonality of parts is a big concern in tactical vehicles. With that in mind, Taco's reply hits home. Put the haviest ones on everything, then you don't have to stock multiple variations of each part in the field.
I didn't see anything in the manual to suggest otherwise. I noted that the w/winch variant has a higher GVWR than does the wo/winch model, probably so the rated 5/4 ton payload remained intact to meet spec. Is there a fresh set of front springs in a winch kit? Does anyone have a parts list to check part numbers of front springs w/winch vs. wo/winch and other variants?

According to the parts manuel. ALL front springs are the same and ALL rear springs are the same. M1028
If your not breakin\' something - Your NOT makin\' enough torque !!
There's a website that features "parts Mike" the answer guy. I'm glad we have an international flair and employ "Manuel".
thanks for looking it up, Manny!
Sorry, Barry, I couldn't resist!
