Memphis Equipment had a run of these made recently...they are pricey...in the $100 area...but they are correct in size/fit and are new pieces that dont crack and leak in a year or 2 like NOS ones do.

Nearly two years on my fuel filler hose and it still looks like the day I installed it. Got it from Memphis Equipment.

I'm about to replace my old fuel filler hose and wondered if anyone has any hints to an easy installation.I bought a new one some time ago from AB Linn on ebay.i'M assuming it may have shrunk over time and could be a bear to put on.My thoughts are sofar to clean up the tank inlet and filler end with emery cloth apply some low heat (hair dryer) to the hose ends then smear some hand cleaner (non pumice type) to both ends and install the filler cap end first, then through the body hole and on to the tank inlet.I do know to cover the tank inlet prior to cleaning to keep crud from getting in the tank. That's what I think-What did you do ?. Thoughts and suggestions welcome.By the way I'm 68 years old and still don't everything.Regards Joe
Put it in boiling water for a few minutes, it will soften the rubber and make it more pliable. Worked for me. I just saw someone on the Zone with a couple of necks for sale. If it's not to late, check in the for-sale ad. Good luck.

I had no problem with installing a new rubber filler neck. I used silicone spray both on the neck interior and the male surfaces of the fill tube and the tank. Mind you, it is in the 90s here so the rubber is soft...
One is on Ebay now from Memphis Equipment.
