Default Looking for modern part store seals

I'm working my way slowly through my truck. The body is off and in primer the chassis is all done and painted. I just finished going through the transfer case, now I'm in the transmission. Does anyone know of a parts store replacement number for the rear transmission seal and engine oil pan gasket? I have searched for, but can't find it in the archives. I did find the numbers for the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and engine rear main seal. Thanks in advance...

These would be the same as a civvy truck with the same T98 trans or 230 engine for the 1963-65 years....

That said, I see nothing on Napa's website for either part.

Have you tried Memphis Equipment or VPW or AB Linn?

No, I might check my inventory list from VPW but I was hoping for something a little more....fresh and new.?.
I did find that the 2 studs that hold the rear mount on are about to fall out.
Also does the transmission have a vent some place?
    Thanks again.

The trans vents through the bellhousing...there is a little vent hole in the front bearing retainer that vents there...thats one reason the plug in the bottm of the bellhousing cover should be removed except when fording...

Check the threads well onthose studs...you my need to relace hem if they have been rattling around too long...I used grade 8 bolts, lockwashers, and locktite.

The pan gasket was made of a thin cardboard or heavy construction paper like material...one could buy the gasket material rom Napa on a roll and cut one I guess...except the end pieces...not sure where you can get those.

If you had the trans rear seal out, you might be able to read the number off it and find one as it may it other things that are newer...otherwise taking the measuements in to a parts place that doesnt just go by the puter and will spend time going through the books would be the best bet.

This is the trans rear seal Federal Stock Number (FSN) 5330-292-1601...hope something helps you here...
