There are 24 volt units around...12 volt as well of course.
Just as an fyi...the mounting holes on the M715 are a universal pattern that is used on lots of older vehicles that vacuum or electric wipers...early Power Wagons use the same pattern for example.

If you do go with electric wipers, don't buy the cheap Chinese electric motors that are like $20 a side. They will only last about 5 uses and quit in the middle of a really heavy downpour, or snowstorm. Ask me how I know.....
The stainless steel boat wiper motors are the best, but they are very pricey.

Thank you for your answers.I am new to these trucks but always loved the body style. I have one spotted if the owner can get it running I will buy it.He said it was running but has been parked for some time and the fuel pump is full of jelly looking gunk. Other than that it is pretty well restored even has the wood for the back seats and bows just needs to be assembled.
If you're already 12V, I've read that several years of wrangler (or was it CJ) bolt up fairly quickly with little modification.
Yes CJ wipers will work. That would be the best way to go, and what I will probably end up doing to mine.

I put CJ wipers on mine. Fairly easy to do.
