I’m 64 and hankered for one for a few decades. Missed out on a couple so when a truck I’d know for a few years came up I went for it. Why had I not bought one all those years ago? Silly me. Now I can’t stop grinning, especially when I’m driving it. It is going to look great parked up next to Huey I crew in the UK ( huey.co.uk )
Great story.
Huey is my favorite aircraft.
Please, please post of a photo of your truck parked by a Huey.
57 here. Not a whole lot older than my truck.

72 here... my son bought a '67 M715 for off roading at local Jamborees in Pa. Obviously the courses aren't built for such large Jeeps so he's acquired a newer, smaller, wanna B jeep. I'm having fun driving this one around, showing it off locally here in Hershey Pa...." the sweetest place on earth".
Spent '69-'70 in the Army. Major is my name- not rank. Interesting twist is that I made Buck Sergeant in two years... so i only advanced to Sergeant Major!
What a great web sight this is...as I'm getting better at navigating it!
