Thanks guys. I'm really itching to get this thing on the road.
Hello again, its been a long time since I've posted anything mostly because the project was in a holding pattern for a while. Now with all my new found free time I've been able to make good progress.
Big difference. Looks good!
I was able to save my fuel tank today so I'm pretty happy about that. The inside is very clean but had a few holes in the bottom. Not the prettiest welding job, but I pressure tested it and no leaks.
Great job on that. Well done.
Why use the short filter on there? The 51515 Wix or Napa 1515 1 quart capacity filter will fit on there...I always use as much as I can...
What axle gears and tire size?
Overdrive?

4.56 for gears and no overdrive. I m not married to one particular tire size, but will try to fit the biggest tire/wheel combo I can. I did keep it spring under up front so that'll limit me somewhat.
I'll check out the filter. Thanks for the tip.
Those gears ought to be nice in there...especially with bigger tires...it will be like overdrive for sure!!

Got the bed undercoated and painted over the weekend. Almost time to get it back on the frame.
