Hello!
Two M715 wiring Questions:
1. How did the factory route the wire for the hood mounted BO Driving Light?
Are there special little clips? And,
2. Does the fuel tank sender have a grounding lead?
Thanks!

Yes, the fuel tank sender has a ground lead, mine was attached to one of the sending unit screws then over to the frame next to the tank. Not sure on the BO light, my light was missing and I have not got to installing it yet.
Great question. I didn't take a photo of that detail before I dismantled my truck.
Parts manual shows a wire clip at the rear corner of the hood.
When rewiring my truck, I couldn't remember how the wire was ran, so I fastened it to the hood support bar along with the small rubber hoses used with the hood mounted air cleaner.
Second that. On the fuel sender lead, it runs from a sender mounting screw (there are five, pick one) to the frame on my truck. Follow the fuel line from the top of your tank down to the frame. Look for a hole somewhere along the top of the frame. I bet you find one there. That is where mine was located. Use star washers and clean the frame, yada yada for a good ground. Right there above the frame where the flexible fuel line attaches to the short length of hard line I installed my first fuel filter (clear), for what it is worth. Second metal fuel filter is in front of the carb. More information than you asked for, but might save you misery at some point. My fuel tank was a rusted mess inside, sent it to Renu (Utah State Radiator 8408 S. State Street Midvale, Utah 84047 1-801-565-8411) and had them sandblast inside and out and coat it ($400ish). Anyway, long story short, there is a fuel sender ground wire, lol.
