Is there a gasket that goes between the transmission and the bell-housing? If so can I make my own or should I buy one? Who has them?

There should be no gasket or anything between the bellhousing and transmission.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Strange I had one on the truck I took apart, thought it was strange, then I thought it was one more seal area they worried about when fording. I will look at my book and see if it shows one. Could not find one in my book. Did you have one on yours?
With all due respect..

My mistake. I walked over to the still attached 230-T-98 in my class before I posted above and didn't see or feel one. Nothing beats the manuals.
Sorry for the confusion.
