Thread: Bondo Brand Roll-On Bedliner

  1. #1

    Default Bondo Brand Roll-On Bedliner

I just got through rolling / brushing this onto the bed of "Taz". Once it dries, I'll take some pics and let you guys see what it looks like on a M715. I'll be interested in how tough it is cuz the instructions say that it's only supposed to go on 1/16th of an inch thick.

Fred, you finally had a tech issue to post in a tech thread. I thought this might get you to "1" on the post count. You just can't leave the bs area though can you?

By the way, please let us know how it turns out.

    Wish granted!

Your post count won't go up until I get around to rebuilding that part of the database though.

Ah heck, look at that, Post count of one.

And for the tech, how smooth did it go on?
    What is the texture like?

    And 1/16" sure is THIN.

    Was it cheap though?

I've been waiting all week to hear how the Bondo bed liner turned out....

Fred's either happy as a clam with it or he's spent every evening out re-doing the dern thing.

I'd like to bring this thread back. I'm interested in finding a roll/brush on bedliner for my 715. Do you have any pictures yet? After it was all said and done, how do you like it?

Brandon I will be using Durabak. www.durabak.com. It comes in colors, although I found I liked black the best. Will be doing two coats for one eighth inch thickness inside the cab and bed. They sent me samples and it seems pretty durable, plus they have a good website.

I just glanced over the website but didn't digg into it. How much is this compared to Herculiner? I was going to use Herc because I can get it at the local autoparts store for about 80 bucks. But it only comes in black....I just saw this in forrest green. Might be pretty cool.
