    Question STA Superlugs

Does anyone here have any info on STA Superlugs? Is anyone now running them or know of someone who is?
Are they good tires for all around driving? Some mud, some snow and ice and mostly pavement type stuff.
The ad says their 37.5 inches in the 9x16's.
I don't have the inclination to find the Michelin's everybody is griping about, not only that, but I'd like to have a warrantied tire...

Yes, I ran the superlugs on my 715 for a bit, they are now on my dads '72 4x4 Dodge. Both my dad and I love those tires. They do "okay" in the mud, they'll gum up if its sticky mud. For snow and ice though, they excell! I've drove through snow so deep it started going over the hood, and we never had to chain up. I would strongly recommend them for all around driving.

You sure they are a 37.5 advertised? I've only seen the 36.5 advertised (thats what I have, the 36.5 size, and they measure right at 36" tall). I'd love to find a size bigger than 36".

I went with Power King Super Tractions since they look more rugged than the STA Superlugs...it was a toss up between those and the Superlugs. In my opinion, Superlugs look way too civilian to me like a just a snow tire on a pickup truck. They are the same price. I paid $170 a piece for my Power Kings with tax out the door each.

The STA's are what is on my 3/4 ton trailer from the military. I was going to get a set for both of my trucks, my son works for Discount Tire and he says they don't have an account with S.T.A., where as Bell Tire, another tire store here, does bizz with S.T.A., according to S.T.A. when I talked to them.

They have a web site, I found it in a Google search, called them. They only sell whole sale.
Where are you guys able to purchase the S.T.A. tires?
