Hello,
How much does a 1100x16 Michelin XL mounted on a M715 rim weigh? I'm trying to arrange shipping...
Thanks,
Mikel

Well, I'm trying to remember now.... I know the tire itself weighs in at 95# per, and the rim has to be what? 50? I know I can't get it up into my bed alone, but that's more a function of how bulky it is and where to hold it in order to lift it. But I'd say 150# is going to be pretty close.
I can actually put my spare on a scale if you can wait until Friday.

I can't remember either. Figure between 150-180 pounds each.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

A hell of alot LESS than on a LAV rim, I know that! I'd say over a 100#?
I just weighed my spare tire on a bathroom scale, Michelin XL on stock M715 rim.... 147 pounds. My spare has roughly 30% tread, so a new/good tire would add a few pounds. LAV rims weigh more than M715 rims and the runflats in them will add another 40 pounds or so. Hope this helps.
Just for future reference: Michelin 11.00R16 XZL weighs in @ 105lbs on my scale. A worn out XZL on LAV wheel with runflat is 220lbs.
