    Default More bridge plate Q

    Another bridge plate question..
1.) How does the top part that has the C on it slide over the pins that hold it? I tried to use force but it just won't slide over. Do the pins come out?
2.) How does it attach to the front of the 715? (pics if ya got em)

Thanks I was finally able to get the upper plate in place but man I had to use a hammer to do it.

Well, just to document it (and heck, to make sure I did it right myself!) here are a couple of pics of mine:

What are you using to hold it onto the brushguard?

See the U-channel sticking out the side in the top picture? That silver nut/bolt on each side of the plate hold that channel on the backside of the vertical slats of the brushguard and sandwiching it in place.

In the picture it looks like its directly bolted to the plate. Thanks I'm painting mine yellow tonight and getting it ready.

    Tim,

I notice you have all of your extra numbers stacked up beneath the ones showing......Is that the way they were supposed to be? Not that worried about original, but I do have a pile of numbers just laying on a shelf now!

I just used my "0" and "4" and then dropped the combination plate on top, "C" facing backward of course, because I don't have a trailer. Works fine and there's enough tension to keep the top plate from moving backward off the lugs.

I stacked all the numbers under the top two Iam showing , then the C plate slips on ,the spring pressure of the numbers hold the Cplate, Its a tight fit .

Yep, the spare numbers are stored behind the front facing numbers. They keep the extra tension on the top plate so that it does not come off easily. They are designed to be universal so any number combo can be shown.
