    Default a 6.9 international swap

curious if anyone has put a 6.9 into one of these trucks? I drove an 87 F250 for years that ran great excpet for the fuel line tendancy to crack. good economy as well. i think the motor might be a little larger than a 6.2 to fit it, but didn't know if anyone has experience with this? a 6.9 donor truck seems ALOT cheaper to get than a cummins dodge.

I think a N/A 7.3 has been done, if I remember correctly. Seems I saw it in a post here at one time.

I believe it can be done....space wise yes...you might be better just replacing the engine and transmission instead of trying to adapt to the stock trans. Anything can be done if you have 2 things...time and money....some just take less some take more. I think this would be on the lesser side.
