Default Stock 725 engine paint questions...

I have searched and searched, but can not find what I am looking for. Getting ready to paint the engine bay, and need to know what everything is supposed to be. I assume semi-gloss for the engine, valve cover, breather... but what about the radiator? Is it supposed to be flat? Oil pan? I can not seem to find any pics of the engine bay of a correct restoration... if anyone has one can you post it or post a link? THANKS!

The radiators of the era come in flat black from the maufacturer of the radiator...the military or Jeep didnt change that.

The oil pan is usually black but variances occur. Valve covers have been seen in black, Olive Drab, and bare metal for example.

    Hey Donk,

Take a look at the Army News article. It has a photo of an old engine bay.

Tha valve cover is OD and the radiator is black.
