Bumper Carriage Bolts
Post by xjchief on Nov 22, 2006, 5:59pm Look like 7/16-14 x1 to me which means they'll be nearly impossible to find- especially in stainless. Anybody have a parts list that gives the specs? |

Re: Bumper Carriage Bolts
Post by kwai on Nov 22, 2006, 9:44pm You talking about the front or rear bumper bolts. I wouldn't use stainless. A good grade 8 bolt will work much better. I found all my bumper bolts at my local fastener shop. |

i know exactly what you are talking about. Very hard size to find. In the end I got a set of galvanized ones from ACE and painted them. They were a bit smaller and longer than stock, but worked. |

Re: Bumper Carriage Bolts
Post by xjchief on Nov 23, 2006, 7:27am I should have been a clearer, I mean the front bumper carriage bolts. I've found a source for grade 5 zinc which seems to be the best I can do. |
