Post by mthomsen on Nov 27, 2006, 11:07pm Is the Gillespie 24052 paint the closest to original you can get? Probably has been discussed before, but enlighten me. Going to need some paint for my winch very soon, and was going to purchase some. Thanks, myron |

Re: Gillespie 24052 paint???
Post by porkchop on Nov 28, 2006, 7:17am That is Marine Corps green. 24087 is army green. This post will help you figure out the original color, maybe. http://m715zone.proboards102.com/index.c....read=1144472737 |

Re: Gillespie 24052 paint???
Post by mthomsen on Nov 28, 2006, 10:21pm Thanks porkchop, my jeep was painted black somewhere along the line, and you can still see the army sticker, and stars through the paint, so i'll probably go with the army green instead. |

Post by beast on Nov 29, 2006, 9:58am If you can still see the hood registration #'s also, I would write those down to keep somewhere. Because those #'s are unique to your vehicle and would be nice to have if you plan to remark the truck after you paint it. |
