I know it's not much yet but my bed liner turned out awesome. The CUCV axles are in but I didnt take any pics. D70 & D60 w Detroit locker. Went with the duale axles to push the WWS out to run the 24 bolt HMMVW wheels w/ double bead lock inserts.

Mating the LS1 to the sm465 and np205. FYI NO adapter necessary to mate the SM465 to the LS1. LS flywheel, 12" plate, and a LS7 pilot bearing to compensate for the LS crank offset from typical 350. Standard manual bellhousing.

Borgeson steering conversion. Followed instructions on this board. Ordered the very part numbers recommended from the site. Dead on.

SM465/NP205 slid right in with new cross brace. Also got the Grant steering wheel part numbers from this board especially the correct adapter part #. And again dead on. If you look close you can see the TAC module and fly-by-wire gas pedal sitting on the drivers floor ready to get mounted up.

Coming soon JB Customs Twin Sticking for the NP205 and BJ's Offroad Hydroboost & Radiator
https://jb-custom-fabrication.myshop...stick-shifters https://www.bjsoffroad.com/M715-M725...ng_p_1879.html https://www.bjsoffroad.com/M715-Alum...or_p_2311.html BTW - I got my Axles from Hillbilly Wizard & wheels from Trailworthy Fab. Hillbilly provided me a pair of 4-wheel disk brake 4.56 axles (D60/D70) with Detroit locker. WMS to WMS was set at 77". Stock was 72"5 & 73.5" so I pushed the axles out roughly 2" on each side. https://www.hillbillywizard.com/ http://www.trailworthyfab.com/Milita...olt-Wheel.html Last edited by teking; December 17th, 2020 at 11:12 AM. |

So here is a discovery I haven't seen posted here before. I finally feel that I'm giving back instead of taking from this board. LOL
The stock PTO for the winch that bolts to the driver's side of the T98 ALSO is the correct PTO for the Chevy SM465!!! Gears mesh and everything. Backlashing appears correct. So far so good. So in the picture what you see is a Corvette LS1/SM465/NP205 combo WITH the stock PTO and winch setup. Cool huh? Forgive the fuzzy pictures. Last edited by teking; December 19th, 2020 at 01:08 PM. |
