Yellow Semi-gloss - 23538. Is the actually military paint.

I found this while playing with google, Old Caterpillar Yellow is the nearest known civvy colour to USMC yellow, being only a few parts-per-million different.

http://www.internationalhobby.com/ih...temCode=GUH004 Is a good place for the semi-gloss yellow.

Yep, Porkchop's are decals, not stencils. I can be forced to make stencils, but they are a pain. The stencils are usually a one time shot. Rick Larson has reusable oil boards if you want to be able to do it twice. Hood # are 3" front bumper are 4", tailgate 1.5" TP & cautions are 1"

So.... You could be talked into stencils, eh? If you could be talked into it, what would you want for two sets of the same numbers? Then when I replace the hood and bumper, I'd have the spare set.

Probably wouldn't need a separate TP or fuel cautions though....

Give me a day or two to figure out how much more it will take in material to do it in stencils. I'll shoot you a price then.

    Whaddya think there, Beast?

I'd be good for two sets of front bumper stencils and two sets of hood stencils, assuming they're not re-usable. And the TP, fuel warning, bumperettes, tailgate, etc. (Does the USMC have the yellow 4 on the passenger door too? Regardless, I want one there. They look cool.)

Oh, and I'd prefer the front bumper stickers be 3" instead of 4". Should make it easier for you anyway since they'd then be copies of the hood numbers, eh?

Lemme know if you can do. Thanks, man...

Sorry, I have not forgot about you, but the holiday weekend is one of the busiest of the year for me here at the race shop. I get you figured out today now that the crowds have gone home.

Cool. I don't mean to be pushy.

What do the USMC trucks put on the bumperettes?

Sent you a PM. As far as bumperettes, I don't believe that they had anything on them, but I include them in case you want to put them on like Gunny did.
