I don't think the company is still making the kits. They were around $1,000 anyway.

How many miles are you driving your truck? I have put 20,000 on mine with a V8 of some type in there and the shoes barely show any wear. I do down shift like I am in a sports car anytime I slow down, but something isn't right if you are going through brakes at such a rate.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

long term and from a cost standpoint your almost better off swapping axles.

Modern readily available parts, better gearing, better brakes, limited slip/posi, more steering angle.

Between the refurbishing, brakes, rotors, spring perches, etc.... I'll be around $2000 into my Ford Kingpin Dana 60 Front, Sterling rear with 4 wheel disc brakes available now locally both in axle bearings, rotors, pads. I also get 4.10 gearing and posi rear.

Yes, if he's going through that many shoes, either he's driving a zillion miles a year or something isn't right.

And yes, swapping axles IMO is the best bang for the buck.

This has been on craigslist for at least a year. The seller won't ship.
