Guys.... I have a M715 with original transfer case and transmission but the original engine has been replaced with a crate Chevy 350 with GM bellhousing and adapter plate. My truck was sitting for awhile and it looks like my clutch is seized (plus it was already going out). Question is... can you pull the transmission and keep the engine in place? I looked last night and it looks like the transmission is wedged between the engine and a support frame/cross member. I can remove the trans/transfer case shaft out and push the transfer case back but it looks like that cross member is going to keep me from sliding the transmission back to Access the clutch. Thoughts?
