Thread: 12 volt military-like horn

    i figure ill throw this question in here since we are talking horns...my 24v horn also sounds like a dying frog.
    my question is what relay would i need to use the stock 24v leads off the horn to signal a 12v air horn? i have a cheesy air horn setup from auto zone or whatever laying around in my basement.
    not sure how to word it but use 24v signal and the load would be 12v @ 20amps maybe for the little compressor
    my head hurts from searching the google

    bought the truck a couple of years ago and been tinkering with it since
    it's awesome.

    When I first got my truck I kept the 24v system for a while and got a voltage converter from Amazon to run 12v accessories.
    Kinda like this one.
