My neighbor has a 6.2 diesel and th350/205 combo in a suburban that he bought for the axles. I could buy this set up for $600 it runs great. I was curious if this would be a good combo for my m715, or if someone is using this combo are you happy with it.

From what I've heard, the 6.2 is a gutless engine with so-so durability.

About half of the fleet I maintain is 6.2/6.5's . They are prone to cracked cylinder heads , blown head gaskets . Even had one where the external part of block cracked on #8 cylinder . I just don't have a lot of faith in this engine .

There are a lot of folks that like 6.2's. (See sig line) It's no barn burner for sure, but if you don't abuse it, You'll be ok. And that price seems kinda high to me. Of course, I'm a cheap SOB...

I like the engine. I'm not big into hot rodding or hard core mudding though. I just thought every one I've been associated with ran well and felt good. If you are in need of running gear, you could bolt it all up and then if you don't like it, a sbc will fit directly in its place later. Same bell, same motor mounts. Bill
