    Default M37 parking brake band

Anybody know if M37 and M715 use the same parking brake band?

Been looking at listings and the only one I saw with measurements was for an older civie Dodge W500 or something like that and the band was wider. Different because it's for a heavier truck?
I thought they were the same but now don't know.

I thought they were the same as well. Maybe look at the -P manuals for each truck and compare part numbers?
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

    6.2 powered M715, 5 M1009's, M416, 2 M101's, 2 M105's, 3 M35's, M1007 6.5 turbo Suburban project called Cowdog.

They sure looked the same to me when I rolled under both types of truck about a year ago to compare (and in the case of the M37 t-case lever assembly, reminisce about how easy they are to remove) & the brake bands looked identical, IIRC.

    It's been a while, though.

I'm pretty sure they're the same and the oddball I was looking at was bigger because it was a bigger truck.
BUT I found a local shop that could reline my old one.
I dropped it off yesterday, their guy said he couldn't get the correct materials but a guy from another shop was coming by later. Left it there for him to check it out. Didn't hear from them so I went up there to check on it and they had it done. Looks like new. Cleaned, painted and correct materials riveted on.
Cost more than I was expecting, but what doesn't. 93 and some change.

Cobbled together the transfer case mount. Still waiting on the bearing retainer machining and the other machine shop to finish up the work on the 390.

I've got parts strung all up and down Old Jacksboro Hwy....

Thanks Don-- I figured I'd let Google take care of that.
