Thread: My build so far

    Default My build so far

I've finally been working on my M715 again. I'm putting a 3.9L Isuzu diesel into my truck with an NV4500 5 speed. The transfer case had to be relocated so I moved it back a few inches so that its centered between the axles. I cleaned and resealed the stock transfer case and reinstalled. I'm hoping that with the lower rpm's of a diesel I can avoid heat issues. Also replaced both cab corners and welded in 2 new rocker panels. God the cab sprayed in primer with bed liner on both sides of the floor. Here are some pics of my work so far.

I had pictures in that post but none of them seem to have loaded. I'm still trying to remember how to do all this

I really want to share my pictures with you all but I can not figure this out. I read brute4c's recent post of loading pictures but it's not working for me. I do not see a paperclip anywhere. I can click on the box that says insert image and I put in the URL but nothing shows. I also see "You may not post attachments" at the bottom of my screen.

I hope you figure it out soon, because having such a cool build and no photos is unacceptable!

I'm glad the pics are working too!

This is a 4BD2T where Isuzu was experimenting with indirect injection. I know these don't have near the reputation of their direct injected predecessors, but I am ok with that. I plan to install the ARP head studs and then im crossing my fingers, hoping that it will hold up. At some point I would like to swap the turbo to increase power, but I'm not worried about that yet. I need to get it driving first
